This exclusive 4-day adventure (November 10–13, 2025) is your gateway to the pulsating heart of mainland China's biomedical innovation ecosystem. Tailored for HKUMed researchers, faculty, and collaborators eager to bridge lab ideas with real-world commercialization, this trip blends site visits, networking, and cultural immersion to supercharge your innovations.

Embark on a curated journey packed with targeted visits and interactive sessions:

November 10 (Monday): Arrival & Pharma Deep Dive
  • Afternoon: Flight from Hong Kong to Nanjing; guided visit to CTTQ Pharma (正大天晴) – insights into pharmaceutical R&D and large-scale production.
  • Evening: Welcome dinner with cohort networking; hotel check-in; illuminated night tour of Nanjing's ancient city walls.
November 11 (Tuesday): Policy, Investment & Suzhou Shift
  • Morning: Official reception by Jiangsu Province government officials; tour of TusHoldings (啟迪控股) – exploring venture ecosystems and tech incubation; followed by a networking lunch.
  • Afternoon: High-speed travel to Suzhou; visit BioMap (百圖生科) for spatial biology innovations; explore Suzhou Industrial Park (蘇州工業園區); dedicated 1:1 matchmaking sessions.
  • Evening: Networking dinner; check-in to Suzhou hotel.
November 12 (Wednesday): Roundtables & Hospital Horizons
  • Morning: Participate in the Suzhou Biomedical Technology Roundtable – discussions on trends and challenges; networking lunch with peers.
  • Afternoon: Visits to Suzhou Kowloon Hospital (蘇州九龍醫院) and Heiwa Hospital (鿋華醫院) – observe clinical integrations and medtech applications; additional 1:1 networking.
