🎉 Proud Moment for #HKUMed Innovation — C2iTech Limited!

We are delighted to congratulate C2iTech Limited, one of the Top 10 Finalists of #HKUMedXelerate2025, on being named HKT Best Rising Star of the Year (Rising Stars) — the top honour in the Rising Stars track — at the HKMA/HKT Global Innovation Award 2025/26. C2iTech also received the Prudential Hong Kong Best in HealthTech Innovation Award (Rising Stars).

A spin-off from the Centre for Immunology & Infection - C2i — a long-standing collaboration between HKUMed – The University of Hong Kong and Institut Pasteur — C2iTech is advancing a Patient-Derived Organoid Platform for Precision Oncology and Chronic Respiratory Disease. The platform aims to provide more human-relevant disease models and functional drug-response testing to support better therapeutic evaluation, earlier prediction, and more personalised healthcare decision-making.

This achievement is a testament to the outstanding talent, dedication, and innovation within the HKU and HKUMed ecosystem. From identifying unmet healthcare needs to developing impactful solutions, our innovators continue to translate cutting-edge research into real-world impact.
