Mr Ivan SHUM

Mr. Ivan Shum is a well-known angel investor in Hong Kong. He is the founder and chairman of the Angel Investment Foundation (NGO) and the managing partner of the Angel Investment Fund (VC). The funds he manages have invested in over 50 local startups and small and medium-sized enterprises, with a cumulative investment of nearly 100 million Hong Kong dollars.
Under his leadership, the foundation organizes the annual national entrepreneurship competition "Maker in China" Hong Kong Chapter, Hong Kong Value Creation for Technology Competition with the HKTDC, and collaborates with the HKUYA to operate the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Subsidy Program. Over 100 local entrepreneurial projects have been matched with over 200 million Hong Kong dollars in investment.
Mr. Shum has also served in various social positions, including being an invited a judge for the Global Innovation Award of the Hong Kong Management Association, a former member of the Innovation and Technology Advisory Group of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, a Judge and mentor for the Hong Kong Science Park Incubation Program, a Judge and mentor for HKTECH300 at City University of Hong Kong, a member of the Steering Committee of the Hong Kong Youth Association, and an entrepreneurship mentor.
