【HKUMed Geneva Triumphs】Gold Medal: Rhytma – Rapid Hormone Monitor for Motherhood & Menopause
From HKUMed Labs to Geneva Gold: women navigating motherhood and menopause have long lacked convenient, lab‑grade hormone monitoring tools.
Rhytma – has been awarded Gold Medal with Jury Congratulations at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva.
Professor Julian A. TANNER, Director of the Common Core and Associate Dean (Health Sciences Education), LKS Faculty of Medicine, HKU and Advanced Biomedical Instrumentation Centre, has developed a non‑invasive biosensor integrated with AI analytics. Rhytma delivers real‑time, laboratory‑grade hormone profiles directly to smart devices and is protected by five IP filings.
The platform empowers women with personalised, data‑driven insights for precision health management across key life stages.
Congratulations to Prof. Tanner and the team. The HKUMed Technology Transfer Unit | TTU is proud to support this transformative innovation in women’s health on its path to global impact.
