Our Assistant Dean (Innovation & Technology Transfer), Prof. Joshua W. K. Ho, recently participated in the BioCentury-BayHelix East-West Biopharma Summit in Seoul, co-sponsored by HKSTP, where he joined regional leaders to discuss how Asia can translate scientific excellence into investable biotech and medtech opportunities.

At the “Hong Kong Breakfast Workshop: From Innovation to Capital Valuation – Making Asia’s Biotech Investable,” Prof. Ho highlighted how Hong Kong’s deep talent pool in biotechnology, AI, medical technology and biomedical engineering is powering a new generation of health innovations. He also underscored the importance of cross-disciplinary and cross-border collaboration in turning academic breakthroughs into real-world impact for patients.
