Update on HKUMedXelerate 2025 Timeline and Screening Panel

Due to a strong response across the Faculty, HKUMed Technology Transfer Unit extended the announcement of the Top 10 finalists of HKUMedXelerate 2025 from 20 to 23 October 2025 to ensure thorough review of all submissions.

The screening panel comprises experts in investment, biotech, digital health and technology transfer, including representatives from Simcere Pharmaceutical Group, Full-Life Technologies, Beyond Ventures, the National Engineering Research Center of Science, Technology and Information (Digital Health Lab), HKU Techno-Entrepreneurship Core and HKUMed TTU.

This rigorous process ensures high-quality evaluation of projects across diagnostics, therapeutics, MedTech and digital health.
