HKUMed Startups Advance to InnoValley 2025 Grand Finale

HKUMed Technology Transfer Unit congratulates two HKUMed-led startups on advancing to the Grand Finale of the 2025 HKU International Techno-Entrepreneurship Challenge (InnoValley 2025):
- BiomOrgan Research (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. – led by Professor Jie Zhou, advancing respiratory organoid platforms
- Nordia Biotech & Pharmaceuticals HK Limited – led by Professor Zhongjun Zhou, developing functional islet organoids for diabetes treatment
The Grand Finale took place on 17 January 2026 at the Grand Hall, Lee Shau Kee Lecture Centre, HKU, where our Dean, Professor Chak-sing Lau, delivered the opening address as a distinguished guest.
