Invited Talk at WT | Wearable Technologies Conference 2026 Hong Kong: From Innovation to Translation of AI-based Health Technology
HKUMed Technology Transfer Unit | TTU was delighted to be part of the WT | Wearable Technologies Conference 2026 Hong Kong, a major international forum for the medical technology industry, hosted by Wearable Technologies AG.
Our Assistant Dean (Innovation and Technology Transfer), Prof. Joshua W. K. Ho, delivered an invited talk on “From innovation to translation of AI-based health technology.” He highlighted how HKUMed is building an end-to-end pathway for AI-driven health innovations — from cutting-edge research and clinical validation, through to technology translation and real-world deployment.
By serving as both an international and regional hub, HKUMed – The University of Hong Kong connects researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to co-create impactful health technologies, including next-generation wearable and AI-based solutions.
We look forward to deepening collaborations with partners who share our mission to translate innovation into better health outcomes for patients in Hong Kong and beyond.
